Charles Wells might not have had the best reputation but he was good at roulette. One evening in 1891, Charles went to the world-famous Monte Carlo Casino Resort and started playing roulette enjoying a winning streak of a lifetime (winning 23 out of 30 consecutive spins).

We know what you're thinking: isn't roulette a game of chance? To most people, sure, but apparently not to everyone. According to Bloomberg, there's a man out there who's beaten the game, no computer required  and all he says it took was a little practice.

While it is challenging to consistently beat a casino in roulette, there are strategies you can try. These include the Martingale system or utilizing a combination of inside and outside bets. However, remember that the game is ultimately based on luck.
